Mission
Accepted … and Accomplished
On
Thursday evening, January 13, ISES DC members and
guests accepted and accomplished our mission to network
and have fun at Zola Restaurant and the International
Spy Museum. Our first networking event of 2005 and
it was a fantastic evening. The food was phenomenal.
The mashed potato bar and pasta station received many
thumbs up, and the decadent desserts made for a sweet
ending. The drinks – wine and premium cocktails -
flowed all evening. The band was on the money. Dressed
in cool costumes and placed in corner of the room
against a backdrop of windows and soft lighting, the
band created a very interesting and dramatic visual
effect that contributed to the spy ambiance, especially
as they played theme-oriented music. Additionally,
some undercover, zany ‘spies’ mixed and mingled among
guests. Did they ever find the missing bomb? And lastly,
guests were treated to a private tour of the museum,
complete with identity and interactive kiosks to test
their ‘spy’ abilities.
Thank
you to our generous contributors, for whom without
them we could not have accomplished ‘our mission’
