CSEP Exam News for 2007

An improved CSEP program was announced at The Special Event January 2007 in Los Angeles. After many months of discussion and planning by ISES and its new testing agency, Schoeder Measurement Technologies (SMT), a new CSEP application, exam and renewal process was revealed. Application:

  • Purchase the official CSEP Exam Candidate Instruction Manual from ISES. Complete the application inside the manual and return with List of 35 Points, Three (3) professional references and exam fee by deadline.
  • Upon receiving approval of application (about 5 weeks), candidates will be eligible to register for the exam.

CSEP Exam

  • Candidates have one (1) year to take the exam.
  • Exams are administered several times a year in North America, Europe and Asia. Go to www.smttesting.com for nearest location.

  • NEW – Emeritus Status – for CSEPs reaching retirement
    • Must be 60 years or older
    • Held CSEP designation no less than 10 years
    • Submit application with fee and 300-500 word essay on how the CSEP designation helped your professional life and why it’s important to retain the CSEP designation
