Come join ISES DC at President Lincoln’s Cottage & the Robert H. Smith Visitor Education Center for a networking reception followed by a fantastic educational dinner event with speaker Anna Post from the Emily Post Institute.

Relationships are built – and the work gets done – when interactions with colleagues and clients are considerate, respectful and honest. This is true today and it was true in 1922 when Emily Post wrote Etiquette. What has changed in the world of business etiquette and what remains constant? How can we use etiquette skills to enhance our relationships and create success for ourselves? Join Anna Post, author, spokesperson and presenter for The Emily Post Institute, to learn more about civility in the 21st century and how to use a five-step problem solving process to find the answer to any awkward etiquette dilemma.

More on President Lincoln’s Cottage & the Robert H. Smith Visitor Education Center:

President Lincoln's Cottage is the most significant historic site directly associated with Lincoln's presidency aside from the White House. During the Civil War, President Lincoln and his family resided here from June to November of 1862, 1863 and 1864. After a $15 million restoration by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, a private, non-profit organization, President Lincoln's Cottage is open to the public for the first time, giving Americans an intimate, never-before-seen view of Abraham Lincoln’s presidency and family life. ISES DC invites you to join us at this historic site to experience this important part of American history. President Lincoln’s Cottage at the Soldiers’ Home offers a unique and historic setting for both private and corporate events. The site is comprised of two historical structures, President Lincoln's Cottage, an 1842 Gothic Revival home, and the Robert H. Smith Visitor Education Center, a 1905 Beaux Arts style building, and the beautiful surrounding landscape. The site offers a wide variety of options for indoor and outdoor entertaining. Ample parking is available on the grounds and both buildings are fully accessible.
