Sales & Marketing Assistant/Meeting & Tradeshow Planner Access Intelligence, LLC, Rockville, MD (August 2006 – July 2009) -Responsible for managing the needs of 8+ Sales Managers within the Sales & Marketing Department of the Aviation Team. -Provided clients or subscribers of Aviation Today, Aviation Maintenance, Avionics, and Rotor & Wing Magazines with various types of information based on their needs. -Prepared all housing, travel, registration, shipping, booth requirements, publication bins for Aviation Groups’ tradeshows. (30+ shows per year, national/international) -Kept inventory of all tradeshow booth materials, signage, forms, and sales collateral. -Worked on-site at various industry related shows, not just within Aviation department. (i.e. Satellite 2008) -Provided excellent on-site support and troubleshooting for Sales Team. -Compiled Tradeshow, Tourist, and other pertinent information for creating pocket guides for specific tradeshows -Traveled to Industry related events to setup, man, and teardown Aviation Groups’ booth and provides registrants of various shows with magazine related information. -Worked with show organizers to ensure everything ran smoothly and was delivered correctly. -Worked in conjunction with the production department in creating various marketing materials and print advertising (folders, rate cards, tech reports, reader profiles, media kits, signage, banners, tchotchkes, etc.) -Negotiated with companies for advertisements in return for booth space and additional needs at tradeshows. -Prepared mailings of media kits, magazines, BPA statements, etc. for each magazine. -Prepared expense reports for Divisional President of AI Business Media and myself and handled/processed invoices. -Created online surveys and prepared direct mailings and list development for each magazine. -Handled the Registration process for Rotor & Wing Magazine’s Search & Rescue Summit 2008 in Reston, VA. - Handled the Weekly Meetings, Site Visit, Registration Process, Hotel Contract, Catering, Budget, Registrant Payments, and Email blasts for Rotor & Wing Magazine’s Safety & Training Summit 2009 in Denver, CO. -Handled the Weekly Meetings, Site Visit, Registration Process, Hotel Contract, Catering, Budget, Registrant Payments, and Email blasts for Rotor & Wing Magazine’s Search & Rescue Summit 2009 in Reston, VA. -Handled the Weekly Meetings, Site Visit, Registration Process, Hotel Contract, Catering, Budget, Registrant Payments and Email blasts for Aircraft Value News’ Aircraft Valuation Conference 2009 in London, UK. -Assessed results from Email Blasts for future knowledge and marketing strategies. -Trained in the Cvent Registration system to create event registration process from scratch and handled registrant payments. |
