I have wedding planning, catering, and wine demonstration experience. I speak fluent Spanish and French, and love to teach and talk about food and wine, and am a talented event coordinator. I seek a position in which I can use my event planning, teaching ability and knowledge of food and wine in a restaurant, event planning firm or hotel.

My experience includes two years of wine and food demonstration, six years in high end catering, four years in wedding planning, two years in bridal and formal attire sales and rental, four years of event based fundraising, writing and editing political fundraising materials, and over five years of retail sales including food.
My BA is in French, and I have taken classes in Food Safety, Garnish, Food Prduction and Food Cost Control. I grew up around the restaurant and food service sectors with one parent who cooks, and one who is a formal service waiter. I got into the field as a second career because my political event planning experience taught me that my greatest joy is seeing a happy party guest, a happy bride and groom, receiving compliments on a menu, dessert, or wine pairing choice.
