I am relocating to northern Virginia. I am passionate about event planning, special events, fundraising, and development work. I am seeking a new career in the Event Management field.

Education, Experience, etc.:
I graduated from college in 2008 and designed my degree around event management and development work. I have worked in two different positions for my alma mater since graduation and have had some extensive experience working with very different constituencies in organizing receptions, dinner, parties, recruitment programs, etc. I have the knowledge and ability to work with others in a team setting or to handle tasks individually. I have worked with and recruited volunteers, collaborated with other co-workers, and other departments and offices to produce successful events. I have also had the opportunity to design marketing materials and invitations, as well as manage reservations. I am looking for a position that can offer me more responsibility and focus more directly on coordinating special events.
