Holiday Breakfast
December 18
at The Mayflower Hotel
Rise and Shine for the December Monthly Meeting

ISES DC looks ahead to 2009 with an elegant breakfast at the Mayflower Hotel on Thursday, December 18th.

By Jennifer Fontine, ISES DC Director of Programs

Mimosas on a weekday morning, anyone?
Ring in the New Year a few weeks early as we celebrate the year ahead with breakfast at the Mayflower Hotel on Thursday, December 18th. This breakfast is sure to awaken all of your senses with a sumptuous morning meal and striking décor generously provided by A Vista Events. The cocktail reception begins bright and early at 7:30am - who says you can't have cocktails before noon--and a seated breakfast will follow.

Following breakfast, we will host our education session, 2009 Business Trends: Devising Great Opportunities Now for an Unusual Year.  ISES DC will welcome Bill Hanbury, President of Destination DC, who will give us an overview of the DC hospitality industry and what we can expect for the upcoming year. By then, the coffee will have kicked in and you'll be ready for the interactive part of the morning. We'll break into discussion groups and discover best practice strategies from one another as we relax in casual lounges provided by Cort Event Furnishings.

Set your alarm clock and kick off 2009, or at least celebrate the light at the end of the holiday-season-tunnel.

Event Schedule:
7:30AM - 8:15AM Registration and "cocktails"
8:15AM -8:50AM Seated Breakfast
8:50AM -10:00AM  Education and breakout sessions
